Primary Account: Creating a cloud account (Primary Account) is optional for the functionality of the app. When you create a cloud account, we collect your email address to facilitate backups and account management.

Dream Journal Entries: Your dream journal entries, if you choose to back them up, are stored securely.

Survey Data: When creating an account, we collect an answer to a question about your age and whether you have had a lucid dream before. This information is not sent to third parties without your consent and may otherwise only be used in anonymized statistical / aggregated research.

1.2. Information We Collect Automatically

Usage Data: We may collect anonymized data such as session durations, active user numbers, engagement statistics, age estimates, approximate geographic locations, and app events. This data is handled by third-party services of Google: Google Analytics, Google Play, and Firebase.

Protect Awoken Dream Services and our users.
Conduct research on general patterns in journal entries (aggregated and anonymized).
